We are dedicated to the spread of Islamic knowledge and Islamic sciences to Western audiences. We develop structured content that allows non-Arabic speakers to gain the kind of knowledge they need to move on to a more thorough pursuit of knowledge and to more advanced levels of learning. 

There are different forms of barriers, some more tangible than others. MEDS seeks to remove the educational, geographical, financial and psychological barriers that stand between a student and the learning journey.

We do this by creating entry level content that simplifies and clearly conveys different aspects of Islamic sciences and disciplines.

    While bits of information on different topics and rulings might be enough for many Muslims, others seek a more comprehensive understanding of Islam. But the problem facing this second group is that they are at a point in their lives where they still don’t have the necessary background or prerequisites to start seeking knowledge in a way that is structured and academic.

    MEDS is a springboard that provides non-Arabic speaking Muslims (most likely in non-Muslim countries) with the fundamental and introductory principles that will enable them to begin pursuing an academic Islamic education. Essentially, MEDS serves to remove barriers for Western Muslims and to make Islamic education more attainable to many many more Muslims, every day.

A series of comprehensive Islamic Courses

MEDS Learn is a project that seeks to simplify and teach fundamental Islamic topics and rulings that take the form of courses. Each course comes with its own test so that students can properly assess what they’ve learned and so that they can make improvements. 

The project seeks to provide students with a solid foundation upon which they can build further knowledge and study different Islamic disciplines more thoroughly.
